WOW. Very poor experience. I showed up genuinely interested in renting, but the staff refused to give a tour or share any useful information about the apartments. It came across as dismissive and unprofessional. It’s frustrating to see a lack of basic customer service when trying to make an important decision like housing. I would not recommend based on this experience. I guess they go on appearance, instead of a real good numbers. Even though after ready bad reviews of the customer service or managers bad humor I still was willing in giving the place a chance and didn’t disappoint

La Moraga Apartments has been by far the worst living experience I’ve ever had. The management here is unbelievably rude, unprofessional, and careless. They treat residents with zero respect and act like they’re doing you a favor just by answering the phone. Any time you bring up a concern, they get defensive or dismissive instead of actually helping. It’s clear that they don’t care about the people who live here — only about collecting rent. The maintenance team is just as bad — unprofessional, lazy, and completely disrespectful. They enter units without proper notice, ignore requests for weeks, and when they finally show up, they barely fix anything. Most of the time, the “repairs” are done halfway or not at all. If you call back about the same issue, they act annoyed like it’s your fault they didn’t do their job right the first time. To make things worse, the entire complex is infested with roaches and pests. No matter how clean you keep your apartment, they keep coming back because the property is poorly maintained and not treated properly. Residents have complained repeatedly, but management refuses to take real action. You’ll find roaches in the hallways, laundry rooms, and even inside your kitchen and bathroom. It’s disgusting. The common areas are dirty, the trash overflows, and the parking situation is a nightmare. Everything about this place feels neglected — from the landscaping to the buildings themselves. It honestly feels like management has given up on taking care of the property or the tenants. If you’re thinking about moving here, don’t do it. You’ll regret it. Between the rude management, useless maintenance staff, constant pest infestations, and overall lack of care, this place is not worth a single dollar of rent. La Moraga Apartments is a complete disappointment and a total headache. Save yourself the stress and look anywhere else.

The apartments are lovely and the rest of the staff are great especially the office manager. She's lovely! But this unprofessional being is despicable! So rude and obviously prejudiced. She does not know how to communicate and is horrible . If you ever need help in that office pray it's not her that helps you. I am a tenant and needed to pick up a package .l ought to file a police report cuz her character was so defensive she may be the one that took it

The staff was great, management and the company are giving them self's there bonuses for sure. Before renting apartment 3105 myself and my wife were skeptical about it. We read reviews about cockroaches and other issues about the apartments. The staff assured us the apartments was cleaned and did not have coacroaches, but we still asked for them to fumigate it. We did a second walk through and we found multiple issues. The light switch, floorboards loose, coacroaches in every single room and hallways. The apartment was really dirty if you're looking at this open the drawers when you tour this apartment complex. If you are applying and moving in best of luck you will need it along with an exterminator. We decided not to move forward with the rental and did not sign the lease.

Our bike was stolen from our garage and after asking numerous times to review the surveillance footage that apparently is on the property we haven’t received any footage or update. It’s been over 2 weeks since the burglary. The front gates were always broken and wide open. Since we moved in, various walk-in gates were not even locked and I’ve messaged management about it a few times. A car that parked next to ours (which is next to a gate that wouldn’t lock inside the property and I told management about it months prior) got their car broken into and windows shattered. One of my Amazon packages was delivered to another resident by mistake and I went to their door to see if it was still there and it wasn’t so I knocked on the door to ask. The person who answered looked confused when I asked for my package until I said Amazon took a picture that it was delivered at her door with her apt # and door mat. Then she got my package that she had OPENED and gave it back to me. What was weird is that the package was dog wipes and she didn’t have a dog and she also works in the apartment leasing office so I was wondering why she would open a package that wasn’t hers and why she didn’t take it to the front desk if she didn’t know whose it was. The hallways were very dirty and many of the residents that moved in recently throw trash and gum on the floor. The hot tub was never hot just warm and the jets don’t work. The pool is often closed for months at a time in our experience. The gym was often missing sanitizing wipes. Messy and not secured.

The leasing office staff is nasty. We had an appointment arranged by our corporate agent to see the place. From the start, the office lady (daughter of the manager who was present) gave us attitude and quite a hard time for no apparent reason. After having me fill out detailed forms with personal info, she took my drivers license and hid it in her drawer. To my amazement, she said she would not return it to me until after the viewing. So that was the last droplet for us, I retrieved my DL and we left. After visiting 8 places that day, LaMoraga was the only office with such a high degree of unprofessionalism and inept staff (this all occurred under the watchful eye of her mother - the manager). Actually a blessing - it's an early give-away that you don't want to live there. Ever.

ROACHES, AWFUL LEASING STAFF, CREEPY NEIGHBORS When I moved into one of the units at La Moraga, I was met with a shocking roach infestation. What initially seemed like a few dead roaches soon revealed itself as a massive infestation. Roach feces and shell casings littered every corner of the apartment. The closet, bathroom, and kitchen, particularly the island, were overrun with roaches. Despite my complaints to the managers, their response was minimal at best. They promised to arrange free Terminix pest control, but the service either failed to show up or only conducted inspections without any treatment. As the situation worsened, I took matters into my own hands and hired Orkin at my own expense to treat the apartment. Even then, I couldn't store food, my clothes, in the apartment due to the persistent issue, which I attributed to the previous tenant and neighboring units. It took seven months for the managers to consider looking at the surrounding units, a step that may or may not have been taken. While Orkin's services helped to some extent, the infestation remained as it is clearly a COMPLEX PROBLEM (see emails) It is still an ongoing problem that continues to affect me. Recently, I experienced a gas leak, and the assistant manager's behavior was incredibly rude when I asked for the water heater to be unblocked. Despite the urgency emphasized by the technician from PG&E, the assistant manager insisted on delaying the process of opening the water heater. The technician had to escalate the issue to the office, stressing the immediate need to address the gas leak. Furthermore, there have been instances where maintenance or fire sprinkler inspectors entered my apartment without prior notice, disrupting my privacy while I was changing clothes or resting. Additionally, I have encountered several instances where residents, including the apartment security officer, followed me to my apartment, raising concerns about my privacy and security. There were several incidents where men have followed me to my apartment to see where I live or have been caught lurking outside of my unit. The unprofessional attitudes exhibited by the leasing office staff are unacceptable. I have lodged multiple complaints about the ongoing issues at this place, but the situation continues to be a source of frustration. UPDATE: I went to give notice of lease termination (which they denied) and is now charging me for painting, and cleaning service. I couldn’t even unpack my belongings and you’re charging me for service?

Had an appointment to view the units. When I got there the leasing office was closed and there was a sign up that said they would not be back until later. Emailed and called with no response. Unprofessional.
